John’s career began in 1994, when he earned a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in accounting and marketing from the University of Manitoba. John then joined his father’s corporate travel business, where he learned extensive sales, marketing, operations, and human resource skills. John worked to double the company’s size and eventually sold it to a large global travel company. During his time there, John quickly developed a passion for marketing and strategic thinking. In 1999, John met fellow entrepreneur Justin Nedecky. The two set out to create a marketing business that was focused on analytics, positive ROI and awesome creative. Metric Marketing was born. Currently John is involved in the sales, and strategic direction of Metric.
